dc.description.abstract	This book deals with the problem of legislation in the Catholic Church. Inasmuch as the subject matter has never been comprehensively presented as a main topic, the book represents a novum in canonical literature. It sets forth theoretical background for the practical process of legislation and proposes some principles of lawgiving, including the techniques of legislative drafting. The author demonstrates how the expression “art of legislation” captures well the complex demands posed by the task of legislative action in the area of canon law.	en
