Psychoanaliza w służbie komunistycznej utopii. O radzieckim projekcie antropologicznym
Abstract
In the process of implementing their anthropological project, that is creating a new, perfect human being, the Bolsheviks sought inspiration from modern science and psychology, especially Freudian psychoanalysis, which was very popular in Soviet Russia in the 1920s. In the process of the ideologization all aspects of life and art, psychoanalysis became the foundation of a scientific project to develop techniques for controlling psychological processes and mass social responses. Attempts to link Freudian psychology and Marxism were reflected in Soviet art and literature of the period, which elaborated on the ideologically-infected scientific experiments to create a new type of human, one that was submissive and hence easy for the state to control.
